Multiparameter indicators for steam sterilisation control MVI-S

Non-toxic, multiparameter, cost-effective tests for steam sterilisation monitoring.

For use in all types of autoclaves with temperature ranges between 120oC-140oC. Placing the MVI-S indicator inside the pack (on a tray or in the package) monitors steam penetration at the location where it is placed. A change along the entire length of the bright yellow indicator strip to a uniform black colour gives the user information about proper dry and saturated steam penetration.

Application

Browne MVI indicatorsTM they form part of the sterilisation process documentation system. The readout result must be recorded in the appropriate section. The controlled effectiveness of the processes translates into a reduced risk of hospital-acquired infection. The MVI indicator subjected to the process should be stored as evidence of a correctly performed sterilisation process.

After use, indicators must be stored away from sunlight.

Prior to use, the indicators should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and oxidising substances.
