Product description

Biological indicators intended for steam sterilisation monitoring contain spores Geobacillus stearothermophilus and have a chemical indicator applied to the label on the vial. Each pack contains a certificate and information such as: colony number, batch number, expiry date, spore population, resistance.

Indicator after exposure it changes colour from blue to black. If the spores have survived the nutrient medium changes colour to yellow, whereas if the spores have been killed the colour remains unchanged.

Biological indicators it should be incubated at 57 degreesoC no longer than 48 hours and the result should be checked approximately every 12 hours.
