WASSENBURG EndoHigh Detergent is a concentrated preparation designed for manual and automatic cleaning of flexible endoscopes. It can be used in compatible WASSENBURG washer-disinfectors and during manual pre-cleaning.
The preparation is designed for use in conjunction with disinfectants EndoHigh® PAA based on peracetic acid and EndoHigh® GTA based on glutaraldehyde. The use of compatible process chemistry supports the effective and repeatable reprocessing of endoscopes.
WASSENBURG EndoHigh Detergent – application
EndoHigh® Detergent can be used at various stages of endoscope preparation for subsequent disinfection. It is designed for both automated washing in WASSENBURG machines and manual pre-cleaning.
The manufacturer also indicates the possibility of using the preparation during the cleaning of endoscopes in compatible immersion and ultrasonic baths. The current instructions for use and the procedures in force at the facility must be followed on each occasion.
Automated washer-disinfection of endoscopes
During the automated process, the preparation is used at a concentration of 0,5%. The approximate parameters presented on the product data sheet are:
- concentration of the preparation: 0,5%,
- approximate consumption: approximately 30 ml,
- washing time: approximately 4 minutes,
- process temperature 35–40°C.
Precise dosing takes place in accordance with the washer-disinfector configuration and the parameters of the approved programme.
Manual pre-washing
WASSENBURG EndoHigh Detergent can also be used for the manual pre-cleaning of endoscopes. The parameters indicated on the product datasheet include:
- concentration of the preparation: 0,25%,
- washing time: approximately 1 minute,
- solution temperature: 20–35°C.
Proper execution of the pre-wash helps to reduce the risk of contaminants becoming fixed and prepares the compatible endoscope for subsequent reprocessing stages.
EndoHigh Detergent System and EndoHigh PAA
EndoHigh® Detergent is fully compatible with EndoHigh® PAA. The detergent is responsible for the soil removal stage, whereas EndoHigh® PAA is used during high-level disinfection.
Both products have been developed for use in compatible WASSENBURG washer-disinfectors. The optimised process temperature and low dosing help to reduce the consumption of the product, energy and other resources.
