Product description

Browne Des-Check Control^TM – indicators monitoring thermal disinfection cycle parameters – (Emulators) are calibrated to various device parameters and comply with the requirements of class 6 ISO 11140-1:2005. The use of emulation tests allows the user to accurately and easily monitor the process by confirming the achievement of all critical process parameters at the point where the test is placed.

The result obtained directly after the process – a clear colour change of the indicator from yellow to blue – is easy to interpret and provides visual proof of the correct execution of the effective disinfection process.

Any remnants of yellow within the indicator part indicate abnormalities in the cycle parameters.

Browne Des-Check Control indicators^TM form part of the washing and thermal disinfection process documentation system.

The processed Des-Check indicator must be kept as evidence of a properly performed thermal disinfection process.

Application

The indicators should be placed at the water drainage point of the car wash, where the temperature is lowest, and to protect them from exposure to excessively high temperatures during the drying phase.

Once the thermal disinfection process is complete, the thermochromatic indicator, provided the cycle has been carried out correctly, should change colour clearly and uniformly from yellow to blue. The presence of even the slightest traces of yellow colour indicates that the process has not been carried out correctly.

After use, indicators should be stored away from sunlight. Exposure to sunlight may cause the blue thermochromic spot to lose its colour. Therefore, indicators stored in documentation that have faded to blue or are colourless confirm that the process ran correctly.

Before use, indicators should be stored at a temperature of up to 4°C, for example in a fridge.
