Product description

Neodisher MediClean forte is a liquid, alkaline cleaning agent that effectively removes organic residues such as dried and denatured blood while providing a high level of material protection. It contains potassium hydroxide and surfactants, which prevent the redeposition of protein residues and reduce the surface tension of the washing bath. Stainless steel, tool steel, typically used plastics and materials of anaesthetic equipment are resistant to the action of the working solutions of the agent. Anodised aluminium should be tested in advance for compatibility with the agent.
During the washing stage, the use of demineralised water is recommended.

Application

Automated washing of surgical instruments including minimally invasive surgery (MIS) instruments and micro-instruments, flexible endoscopes, dental instruments including straight and contra-angle handpieces, anaesthetic equipment, all types of containers and other medical devices.

For machine washing of thermostable and thermolabile instruments:

0.2–1.0 % by volume (2–10 ml/l), e.g. at 50–60°C for 10 minutes.
Machine washing of flexible endoscopes: 0.5 /% (5 ml/l), e.g. at a temperature of 36–55 °C, 5 mm.
Manual cleaning of thermostable and thermolabile instruments using immersion and ultrasonic methods: 0.5 – 2.0 % (5 – 20 ml/l), 10–30 mins, recommended temperature up to 40°C.
Manual cleaning of flexible endoscopes and endoscopic accessories by immersion: 0.5 – 3 /o (5 – 30 ml/l), 5 – 10 min., at a max. temp. of up to 40 °C.
Working solutions during manual washing should be changed at least once a day.
Solutions of neodisher MediClean forte must be completely rinsed off (demineralised water recommended).

Do not mix the concentrate with other products.
Flush the dosing system with water before changing the product.
