Paper-film reels with 3 process indicators – gusseted

Paper-film reels with 3 process indicators and gusset are made of 60 g/m² medical paper and blue-tinted transparent film. The side gussets allow items and sets of greater volume to be placed inside the reel.

Three chemical process indicators designed for sterilisation have been placed on the sleeves, respectively:

• with water vapour,
• ethylene oxide - EO,
• formaldehydem.

Coloured indicators were printed below the seal line or on the outer surface to reduce the risk of transfer of the indicator substance during the sterilisation process.

Gusseted reels for instrument sterilisation

The product is available in seven sizes with varying sleeve widths and pleats. It is also possible to order custom formats tailored to individual needs.

Key properties:

• 60 gsm medical paper,
• transparent blue film,
• side gussets increasing the available packaging space,
• three chemical indicators of the sterilisation process,
• high clarity enabling identification of the contents,
• abrasion resistance,
• double-sided closure,
• additional corner closure limiting lateral bending,
• three-channel seal increasing tear protection,
• seal strength of 1.5 N per 15 mm width in accordance with EN 868-5.

The manufacturing and storage process of the sleeves is carried out in accordance with the requirements of quality management systems ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
