ResiTEST – test for the detection of protein contamination residues

ResiTEST protein contaminant residue detection assay is designed to check the cleanliness of instruments after the washing and disinfection process. It allows for the detection of organic contamination in the form of protein residues.

The test detects protein residue levels of above 1 µg. It does not require an analyser or incubation, and interpretation of the result is based on a change in the colour of the solution.

Check for protein residue after cleaning

In the presence of protein residues, including amino acids and peptides, the test solution changes colour to blue within 10 seconds.

Instructions for use of the ResiTEST

1. After completing the washing and disinfection process, swab the controlled surface of the clean instrument.
2. Place the swab in the vial containing the ResiTEST solution intended for the detection of protein residues.
3. Observe the colour of the solution.
4. A change of colour to blue indicates the presence of protein residues.

The pack contains 25 tests.
