STERISHEET 355 this is a blue SMS sterilisation non-woven fabric with a weight of 55 g/m², designed for packing medium and heavy tool sets.

The material is made from 100% polypropylene using the following technology: SMS (Spunbond–Meltblown–Spunbond). Spunbond layers consist of long, strong and thick fibres, whereas the meltblown layer is made of short and thin polypropylene microfibres.

SMS non-woven fabric for sterilisation

STERISHEET 355 can be used as a sterile barrier system for medium and heavy instrument sets. The non-woven fabric is suitable for use in the following sterilisation processes:

  • with water vapour,
  • with ethylene oxide,
  • with hydrogen peroxide,
  • formaldehydem.

  • material made from 100% polypropylene,
  • three-layer SMS construction,
  • 55 gsm,
  • blue,
  • intended for medium and heavy tool kits,
  • suitability for use in various sterilisation methods,
  • tensile strength in the linear direction: 2.5 kN/m,
  • transverse tensile strength: 1,4 kN/m.

The material has been manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the standards EN ISO 11607-1 and EN 868-2 relating to materials and packaging systems for medical devices to be sterilised.
