WD440SSB – Automatic Washer-Disinfector for flexible endoscopes

Endoscope washer-disinfector WD440SSB the WASSENBURG® company is designed for the controlled, fully automatic washing and disinfection process of flexible endoscopes and other thermolabile medical devices. Its design and functionality ensure high standards of safety and operational effectiveness, and the full process can take as little as 22 minutes.

Innovative WASSENBURG WD440 solutions

The WASSENBURG® WD440 washer-disinfector features a unique, profiled chamber with a ribbed bottom, connected to a special spiral tube. The solution flowing into the chamber and through the tube gently lifts the endoscope along with its insertion tube. This limits contact points and allows the solution to effectively reach all individual surfaces.

The basis of the system's effectiveness is proven pump and connection technology. Each endoscope channel is independently processed and monitored for flow, pressure and tightness.

Two independent washing chambers

Two independently operating washing chambers provide easy access to individually loaded and connected endoscopes and increase the throughput of the washer.

The chambers are made of high-grade stainless steel to ensure appropriate conditions for the washing and disinfection process throughout the entire service life of the device. Their corrugated base reduces contact with the endoscope to a minimum.

The design of the chambers also makes it possible to reduce water consumption and maintain a constant process temperature.

Intuitive and hygienic operation

The user interface of the WD440 washer-disinfector enables easy and intuitive operation of the device. Hands-free opening of the wash chamber lid via foot pedals allows for loading of the contaminated endoscope without the need to put it down.

The colour scheme of the connections differs depending on the type of channel for which they are intended. The connector colours correspond to their designations displayed on the screen when connecting the endoscope.

LED indicators on the car wash housing signal the current status of the device by changing colour. The user menu is available in various languages, including Polish.

Full documentation of the cleaning and disinfection process

All stages of washing and disinfection in the WASSENBURG® WD440 washer-disinfector are thoroughly monitored. Process details are displayed on the colour touchscreen and can be printed using the built-in printer.

The workflow and process documentation can also be integrated with dedicated software. WASSENBURG® Process Manager.

The technological solutions used in the WD440 have been designed with a controlled and repeatable process in mind. The generated reports make it possible to document the performed activities and the parameters of washing and disinfection.
